You can also use your mobile phone to take photos in all sorts of situations – on holiday, or wherever you are – and upload them to your Facebook or Instagram account, and that’s that.

So why would you need a photographer?

With a bit of effort, you can take excellent photos with a smartphone.
Or you can go to a photographer who has already thought through the setting, the lighting setup, the equipment, the outfits and the ideas for the final results in advance.

Why should I have photos taken?
There are various reasons why people wanna have a shoot with me.

The simplest one, of course, is that you’ve seen my photos and are curious to see how you’d look in them yourself,
or you’ve always wanted to find out whether modelling is something for you as a hobby.

What can you expect from a shoot with me?
Sometimes the model already has their own ideas, or has applied for one of my projects.
Once we’ve made contact, we discuss what we’ll be doing during the shoot.
I generally offer TfP (Time for Print) shoots. The purpose of this arrangement is that the photographer provides the location, equipment and preparation, whilst the model makes themselves available as a model.
The model then receives all the images produced, which they may use for non-commercial purposes, just as the photographer may.
